Biography :
She is a woman from the southwestern region of Louisiana, which is referred to as "Acadiana", the area known as the "heart of Cajun country".
Cajuns are the descendants of French and Spanish.

Ali Landry broke into the scene and gained instant fame as the "Doritos Girl" when he appeared in an ad for Frito Lay during the 1998 Super Bowl broadcast. The next day, call in the NY Post's cover story "A star is born during the Superbowl XXXII." Later that year, he was selected as one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful."
Following the commercial success of the campaign, Ali, who was crowned Miss USA 1996, making the transition from model to acting in various film and television roles. Recently he starred with "Bella," which won the Toronto Film Festival Award in 2006, in addition to three seasons on the UPN Network hit series "Eve."
Other television appearances include recurring roles on "Felicity," "Two Guys and a Girl," "Sunset Beach," and "Online." Hosting his credit including weekly music-talk show "Club.com Farm," "Full Frontal Fashion" on WE: Women's Entertainment, and NBC's "Spy TV." Plus, ALI is the subject of MTV in the summer of 1999, appeared in 98 Degrees popular video single "I Do." In the film, she co-starred in "Beautiful," directed by Sally Field in 2000.
She attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana, but resigned after winning the Miss USA title in 1996.
Ali met her husband Alejandro at the Bible study at church. He and Alejandro Gomez Monteverde was engaged over Memorial Day 2005 in Mexico and later married in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
At age 33, she gave birth to her first child. Daughter, Estela Ines, born July 12, 2007 just after 9:30, weighing 8 pounds, 2 oz
