Tara Reid

Tara D. Reid (born November 8, 1975) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the films The Big Lebowski (1998), Urban Legend (1998), American Pie (1999), American Pie 2 (2001), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), My Boss's Daughter (2003), and Alone in the Dark (2005).

Reid began acting at age nine, being a regular on the game show Child's Play, and appeared in over 100 commercials including Jell-O, McDonalds, Crayola and Milton Bradley. As a teenager, she was on Saved By The Bell: The New Class and on All My Children. After moving to Hollywood in 1997, Reid transitioned to movies, landing her break out role in 1998's The Big Lebowski, a cult favorite, and her first #1 box office role. She finished out the year appearing in two more box office toppers, Cruel Intentions and Urban Legend. In 1999, Reid portrayed the role of virginal Vickie in the wildly successful film, American Pie, which grossed over $102,000,000 in United States box office receipts and becoming her fourth #1 in a row. Between 2000 and 2002, Reid starred in a string of unsuccessful movies, such as Josie and the Pussycats and Dr. T and the Women. In 2001 and 2002, she reclaimed her box office success with American Pie 2 and National Lampoon's Van Wilder, alongside Ryan Reynolds. She returned to the small screen as a re-occurring character on the NBC sitcom, Scrubs, appearing in 11 episodes of Season 3. From 2003 through 2005, Reid appeared in two movies (My Boss's Daughter and Alone in the Dark), both panned by critics. In January 2007, Reid filmed a commercial with Daniel Conn for Dodo, an Australian budget telephone and Internet provider. In 2005, Reid signed on to host the E! Channel's Wild On Tara Reid (later renamed Taradise), a program that showcased high society vacations and hot spots. The show aired in October 2005 and was cancelled in February 2006, due to poor ratings, with only 8 of the 14 episodes aired. Reid's new film called The Fields is scheduled to be released in 2011.

Nicollette Sheridan

Nicollette Sheridan (born November 21, 1963) is a British born American actress. She has appeared in movies and television, and is perhaps best known for her roles as Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives and as Paige Matheson on Knots Landing.

Sheridan made her debut in the US primetime soap opera Paper Dolls in 1984, but her breakthrough came in 1986, when she joined the cast of the CBS primetime soap Knots Landing as "Paige Matheson". She started out in a recurring role, but was a series regular by the 1988-89 season. For her performance in the role, she won the 1990 Soap Opera Digest Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress: Prime Time" and the 1991 Soap Opera Digest Award for "Outstanding Heroine: Prime Time". The same year, she was named one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People". After the series ended in 1993, she appeared in several made-for-TV movies and the films Spy Hard and Beverly Hills Ninja and auditioned for the role of Grace Adler on Will & Grace (on which she would later guest-star).

In 2004, Sheridan's role as sexy model divorcee Edie Britt in ABC's Desperate Housewives brought her renewed media attention. She was nominated for a 2005 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and was named #48 on Maxim's 2006 List. Less positively, she was named 2004's "worst dressed" by Mr. Blackwell. She commented that: "I'd rather be number one on the worst-dressed list than number two on the best." Blackwell had earlier (TV Guide, July 22, 1989) praised her fashion sense: "daring ... with her panache, she brings it off without a hitch. For the adventurer in all of us, she's the one to watch".

Toward the close of the fourth season of Desperate Housewives, conflicting reports circulated regarding Sheridan's future in her role. While Hollywood.com reported in April that series creator Marc Cherry had said Sheridan would depart at the end of the season, another source stated that Sheridan was confident she would return for the series' fifth season. By May 4, Entertainment Weekly reported that Sheridan would likely make several appearances in the upcoming season, but not necessarily as a regular cast member.

Actress Dana Delany, who plays Katherine Mayfair, confirmed that Nicollette Sheridan would be back to reprise her role for Season 5 of Desperate Housewives, and the Hollywood Reporter reported Nicollette's character might be seducing another boyfriend, played by actor Neal McDonough.

When season five aired, Sheridan did indeed reprise her regular role as Edie, now married to McDonough's character.

In February 2009 Sheridan announced her departure from Desperate Housewives. Her exit episode aired in April 2009 when Edie Britt was killed off in the series.
